We recently did an upgrade to our soap manufacturing equipment and after decades of soap-making with a variety of hand-made equipment it was time for a move to the future. Well, we have already outgrown the new stuff but very happily we are able to up-cycle our old soap pot and turn it into a super efficient oil melter.
We sent the old pot off to our fabricator in the back of his 63 Mercury. A fitting ride for the old pot.
This will help deliver oils at the correct temperature, right when we need them in an energy efficient system. It's so cool to be giving this 50+ year old piece a new lease on life.
Here's to the up-cycle.
