From humble beginnings

Our story begins long before Saltspring Soapworks did: Four generations ago with a grandmother and a farm. Using beef tallow and ash, she handcrafted soap—a legacy that was handed down to her granddaughter and our founder, Linda Quiring. This product is quite nice. I use it as an after shower moisturizer, it works well and smells good. It does seem to solidify in a 21 ish temp room as it says. But I just put it in the shower with me and it’s perfect for use after that. The only improvement I would make is the delivery, pouring the oil after a shower can sometimes be difficult, luckily I have an eye dropper so I’ll use that.

Smells Amazing!

I love this oil and I’m just about to buy my second bottle of it. I use it on my face as my moisturizer, it keeps my skin nice, it absorbs quickly and smells wonderful.
This oil does solidify tho, so to get it out of the bottle I put it in hot water in the sink to melt it before I can use it. But then it’s warmed up when I apply it, which makes it really nice too.
