    For some, a bath is just a bath. We feel great empathy for those people. They know not what they’re missing. If they tried our ultimate body scrub, they’d appreciate the special magic that happens when pure sea salts, rich butters, and essential oils get together for a private soirée.

    Body Gelato® scrubs away all that yucky old skin that you want gone. In doing so, it cleans you up plum good, and reveals fresh new skin. (If you want to be fancy, just replace the word “skin” with “epidermis.”) All the while, it’s nourishing and moisturizing your… that’s right, epidermis. Sheesh.

    This stuff is great for your hands and body. Use it for a few days, and your body will feel softer and smoother, and loved. Give it a try. You’ll thank us.

    Body Gelato is made fresh daily. Remember to store in a cool, dark place, and use within 3 – 4 weeks of purchase.
  • Usage

    In shower or bath, massage a small amount of scrub onto damp skin and gently massage in small circular motions over body avoiding sensitive areas. Rinse thoroughly and follow with body lotion.




    Additional information

    TIP: Do not open container in the shower as it is meant to be stored dry.

My skin is happy

I was so happy when I tried this product, my skin five hours later is still feeling luscious. I didn't realize when I purchased two of them that there is a short shelf life. I'm sure I'll have no issue using them up.

Thank you for your review Laura. You can extend the life of your Body Gelato by putting it in the fridge between uses. :)

Gelato scrubs and other products I've purchased

I live in Ontario but was introduced to this store on Salt Spring Island by my daughter. I love all the products and have purchased the Pise and Lavendar gelato body scrubs(rose is my new favourite) they slough off the dead skin leaving your skin silky soft with a slight heavenly scent of roses or Lavendar. I've purchased the bath bombs, bubble baths, lotions, lip balms, hand soaps, shampoo and conditioner and am faithful to their Apotheka skin care line. I have it all and love how all the products feel on my skin. I should add that I have several allergies and sensitive skin but nothing they make has ever given me problems. I order online when I can't get to the island , especially when they have free shipping. I've bought several gifts for others from the store and they loved the products too.
The only thing I wish they would do, is put their liquids in plastic bottles instead of the glass. Shipping especially in the cold winter months can create a problem with the brown glass. One order was left overnight in the courier truck and froze. Even when they mark Do Not Freeze on the box. Not the Soapworks fault. I've had issues with broken glass but the company graciously addressed to the issue and I am a satisfied customer. Try everything! You won't be disappointed. :grinning: I love everything.
