    As individual hair care needs are unique, each of our shampoo bars features a specific blend, suited to varying hair requirements. Our Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar works for all hair types, but is particularly good for oily and dark hair. This bar cleanses, stimulates, and refreshes.

    A few notable ingredients make our Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar what it is. These include:

    Olive Oil: This shampoo bar relies on olive oil for its hydrating properties. These help soothe the scalp.

    Coconut Oil: This ingredient promotes scalp health, adding lustre, shine, and softness to the hair—while stimulating hair growth by getting deep into its follicles. It also deeply moisturizes dry hair, preventing hair breakage and split ends.

    Peppermint Oil: Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, this oil is a powerhouse of nutrients and minerals. It helps cool, stimulate, and relieve dry itchy scalp. It also eliminates dandruff and gives hair a healthy shine.

    Rosemary Oil: This oil increases hair thickness and fullness by infusing new life into thinning hair. It does so by speeding hair growth, treating dandruff, and preventing premature greying. And it softens and conditions your hair.


    Full ingredients list

    Saponified Oils of Olea Europaea (Olive), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) and Ricinus Communis (Castor); Essential Oils of Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) and Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary).


  • Usage

    Rinse your hair well. Then rub your shampoo bar against your wet hair (while massaging your scalp), to create a rich, consistent lather.

    Work your way from your scalp down the length of your hair. As you do so, the shampoo will spread easily. If you have split ends, scrub a little extra, to make these hair problems less pronounced. When properly covered, rinse the suds from your hair.

    Once you’re finished, rinse the bar off and place it on a soap dish. (Using one that drains will prolong the life of your shampoo bar.)

    Additional information

    As natural soaps age, their scent and colour can diminish. Also, you can prolong the life of your shampoo bar, by keeping it on a well drained soap dish.

    Shipping delays

    We ship most orders on the next business day. As such, Friday and weekend orders sometimes take a little longer to reach customers.

    Occasionally items are temporarily out-of-stock or back-ordered. In such an event, we’ll contact you with an estimated shipping date.

    Any shipping delays will be communicated to you at the time of your order. Should any other unforeseen delay occur, we’ll notify you promptly.


    The Saltspring Soapworks Return Policy

    We put a lot of heart into the products we make. We carefully select and test materials and our recipes have been refined over decades. Every day we work to improve how we make these goods.

    In spite of our best intentions, mistakes happen. A container breaks during shipping. Local humidity affects a product negatively. Or, something we had never anticipated goes awry.

    In any event, we’ll make it right. If you aren’t delighted with your Saltspring Soapworks purchase, call us (250-537-2811) or send us an email. This allows us to provide a replacement, suggest an alternative, or refund your purchase.

    One request: please let us know what went wrong, so we can make sure it doesn’t happen again. :-)
