From humble beginnings

Our story begins long before Saltspring Soapworks did: Four generations ago with a grandmother and a farm. Using beef tallow and ash, she handcrafted soap—a legacy that was handed down to her granddaughter and our founder, Linda Quiring. The simplicity of our beginnings remains the essence of our remedies today.

I absolutely love these products until I read the ingredients...

Polyaminopropyl Biguanide is banned in some countries, although I'm sure it will be debatable for some, I came to this company with the idea of clean and pure products. I understand to keep the product safe and fresh it makes sense, I just wish there was another way to prolong the shelf life and keep it 100% pure.
