Our story begins long before Saltspring Soapworks did: Four generations ago with a grandmother and a farm. Using beef tallow and ash, she handcrafted soap—a legacy that was handed down to her granddaughter and our founder, Linda Quiring. The simplicity of our beginnings remains the essence of our remedies today.

My daughter sent my this lotion from Nanaimo to Ontario. This is the best hand cream/body cream I have ever had. It smells so good, I keep smelling my hands like a weirdo. It also leaves my skin feeling amazingly soft. The scent lasts as well. Great present for Mother's Day!
