From humble beginnings

Our story begins long before Saltspring Soapworks did: Four generations ago with a grandmother and a farm. Using beef tallow and ash, she handcrafted soap—a legacy that was handed down to her granddaughter and our founder, Linda Quiring. The simplicity of our beginnings remains the essence of our remedies today.

Not great

I have been purchasing soap from you guys for several years. The last two orders I received, have not been stellar. The soaps lack colour and smell and have been disappointing. Sadly I won’t order any more because of this.

Thank you for your review of our Lime Loofah Soap bar. With our Loofah soaps, we have recently moved to a more natural based color, which is much softer in vibrancy than the original loofahs you have been used to. We see this as an improvement. This the recipe has also replaced fragrance oils with essential oils in each and every batch. We are striving to always use the highest quality ingredients and essential oils whenever possible and this means changes to products whenever this can occur. Having said this we would like to offer you a replacement, or a refund on your purchase and again we appreciate your feedback and value your business. Just let us know your preference.
