7 g • Citrusy, creamy and nostalgic, like the orange creamsicles of our childhood. Nourishing mango and shea butters hydrate dry, chapped lips, antioxidant-rich vitamin E and hemp seed oil repair, and beeswax protects, while wildflower honey makes this all-natural lip balm subtly sweet.

From humble beginnings

Our story begins long before Saltspring Soapworks did: Four generations ago with a grandmother and a farm. Using beef tallow and ash, she handcrafted soap—a legacy that was handed down to her granddaughter and our founder, Linda Quiring. The simplicity of our beginnings remains the essence of our remedies today.

Orange Vanilla Lip Balm — FAQs

They have pleasant natural scents/flavors from essential oils and extracts (citrusy sweet orange vanilla, floral rose, cool peppermint honey). They are safe and pleasant during normal
use.

All our balms are nourishing, but the richer ones or those with shea/cocoa butter elements perform especially well on dry lips. Apply frequently, especially before bed or in harsh weather. The Tinted Rose Hibiscus offers color + lip care.

Our balms provide excellent moisturizing and protective barriers against wind and environmental dryness. They do not contain added SPF filters unless specifically noted on the product. For sun protection, layer with a lip product that has SPF or use separately.

Our lip balms are crafted with high-quality, natural ingredients, including moisturizing butters and oils, beeswax for wind protection and texture, and pure essential oils and organic natural flavors for scent/taste (orange vanilla, rose hibiscus, peppermint honey).
Some are also tinted for a natural flush of color.

Our 7 gram tube is much larger than standard lip balms and with regular use, these balms typically last many months. The compact size makes them perfect for pockets, purses, or bedside.

Yes! Many customers use our balms as multi-purpose treatment for dry cuticles, knuckles, elbows, or any small dry patches. The rich texture works beautifully as a spot treatment.

Some are (check ingredients), while others contain beeswax for structure and protection. We clearly label ingredients so you can choose accordingly.

My Go To

I used the Peppermint Honey Lip Balm before and I loved the high quality feeling of it and how well and how long it kept my lips soft and moisturized. The Orange Vanilla balm is this and more. I'm a sucker for warm scents and the combo of vanilla and orange is just divine. I use this balm every morning and have one in my desk at work. I highly recommend this balm and the others!

I have always ordered the Pomegranate Shea lip balm before seeing this new (to me) one so decided to try it. It's just as lovely as the Pomegranate Shea lip balm. I have them in my bathroom, purse, kitchen drawer, etc.....always a favourite.
