Rosemary Mint Shampoo

I'm wondering if I got a "dud batch" in the bottle of shampoo I bought at the Victoria location this past weekend. I say that because I very recently bought a travel size of their conditioner in rosemary/mint and experienced what I would have expected from the shampoo - a delightful crisp/fresh sensation on the scalp, as well as the lovely smell. The shampoo did neither of these things, and I mean not an iota, and I also had to use quite a bit to get a decent lather. I opted to purchase the shampoo because I have fine, curly hair that has started to thin and read enough reviews to feel confident it wouldn't be overly cleansing/drying, and that it could also stimulate hair growth. I have to be quite selective with my conditioner, and while I LOVED the tingly/sensory experience of the conditioner, it can't be my regular conditioner. Anyway...what gives? I was so excited to shower this evening, and now I feel deflated.

I first tried this shampoo, conditioner and body wash while on vacation on Vancouver Island. I instantly fell in love with all 3. The smell is amazing- gentle but invigorating. I love how my hair and skin feel after using. Excellent products.

I discovered Saltspring Soapworks when visiting in Victoria a couple of years ago. I was immediately smitten by the rosemary mint products which have now become a staple in my home. Pure, simple, Canadian made.

My hair has never felt this healthy in my 40 years. Highly recommend. I haven’t shipped across the country and it’s worth every penny

The Rosemary Mint shampoo, along with the conditioner and body wash, makes a perfect combination of hair and body care. The scent is light and fresh. The hair products leave my hair shiny and clean and soft. The body wash is cleansing without feeling harsh. I highly recommend these Canadian products.

I’ve recently noticed my hair is thinning, dull, dry and has been falling out like crazy. I’m entering the wonderful menopause phase in my life not so wonderful when comes to hair loss along with hair that is dull, very dry and lifeless. I also have been living with hypothyroidism for many years which hasn’t played a wonderful part in premature greying, dull, dry and limp hair thin hair.
I’ve spent a lot of money trying different salon products but the symptoms just got worse. Even tried different thinning hair shampoos and conditioners but they burnt my scalp for hours and gave me bad headaches.
While at a Spa I happened to notice Salt spring soap works products on their shelves. I bought a bar of their mint body soap and fell in love. I got thinking why not check out the rest of their products online and came across their shampoo and conditioners . I did some google searching to see where I could buy it here in my home town and happened to find it. Tell you the truth I was very sceptical about trying anything organic on my hair even though it was very highly rated on line. I did find it dried my hair out the first few washes like it said it might but now my hair has more volume and definitely isn’t dull or dry and I can see a few new hairs growing back. Yay! It also smells amazing!

You don’t need much and your hair smells soooo good

My husband and I went to a spa a few years ago and tried this, it was the best shampoo we’ve ever used. So tingly and refreshing, your hair actually felt clean.
I called the spa the other day to see what brand it was that they used and ordered asap. My husband and I were so excited!
I don’t know if the formula was altered but it disappointed. There was no tingle and very faint mint smell.
Overall it’s a decent shampoo but it blew our minds in the past.

My hair is fine like baby hair so it’s really hard to find an actual shampoo to not strip all the moisture out of the hair while cleansing. This keeps moisture but does not weigh it down and I don’t use much and it goes along way for my hair love the smell as well

My order arrived within the expected timeframe. The shampoo has a nice botanical fragrance to it and leaves the hair feeling clean and refreshed.

This is the first shampoo ever that doesn’t dry my hair. It leave soft and silky hair as well moisturizers. We really enjoy the scent and big bottle. I just wish it would have more rosemary in it. Smell mostly mint. We also tried rosemary shampoo in the bar form but it doesn’t wash off easily and leaves kind of film or residue.
I hope the formula stays the same.

Pricey but worth it!

This is my go to shampoo. I have been using it since I bought on a trip to Salt Spring Island. Now I order online. Rosemary Mint feels good on the scalp without feeling harsh. I would definitely recommend. The price point is good when you consider the quantity.

After years of struggling to find a shampoo that doesn't leave my hair either dry or greasy and my scalp itchy and scabby, I've found it!
It smells great, rinses clean without residue and I can go longer in between washes.
I'm so happy to have a natural product that works and support small business!

I have had a lot of trouble with dry, dull hair and a very itchy scalp. My friend recommended the Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner and gave me some to try for a week or so. I was sold on it. I’ll definitely be a repeat purchaser!

I was a bit skeptical when I started using it as my hair would get greasy very quickly (I wash my hair twice a week). So I gave it a try for a month and my hair got used to it and now I love it! It leaves my hair shiny and just feels very natural.

Just love this shampoo and have been using it since 2016. I've tried other shampoo's but always come back to this.

I forgot my dandruff shampoo on a work trip and only used this shampoo for a week and realized I didn't have any dandruff and my head wasn't itchy. I've had to use dandruff shampoo for over 20 years and it's nice to not need it anymore. I'm not saying this will work for everyone for that but it works for me. Also my hair is super soft.

I've used this shampoo with the matching conditioner for a few months now. My hair feels so soft and healthy. I have curly hair and if I use harsh shampoo I get a bunch of friz. One of my favourite things is how gentle this stuff is while still cleaning my hair! A whole bottle lasted about 4 months, I'm am very happy with my purchase and will be buying this again.

My sister was going thru a stressful time and began losing her hair. Her hairdresser told her to try something with rosemary. She tried different organic shampoos and conditioners to no avail. This is hands down the best shampoo I have ever used. My scalp feels fresh and soothed. My hair is so soft and manageable. I have tried hundreds of shampoos, natural brands etc. and this is by far my favourite. I won't be using anything else! Thanks so much for such a great product.
