From humble beginnings

Our story begins long before Saltspring Soapworks did: Four generations ago with a grandmother and a farm. Using beef tallow and ash, she handcrafted soap—a legacy that was handed down to her granddaughter and our founder, Linda Quiring. The simplicity of our beginnings remains the essence of our remedies today.

Sold on this Scent - Rhubarb!

I love the Sparkling Rhubarb Foaming Bubble Bath and the Rhubarb Clay Soap Bar! It smells exactly like real rhubarb and not some manufactured attempt to simulate the scent - but satisfying, tart and zingy - the real thing! It takes you right back to when your mom or your grandmother stewed up a batch of fresh rhubarb right from the garden. Yummy, luxurious and homemade!

Like dish soap

This was like dishwashing liquid. Smelled nice in the bottle but no scent in the bath. Not worth the money.

Spring in a Bottle

I first discovered the Sparkling Rhubarb Foaming Bath at a lovely hotel in Victoria, BC. It's been my favorite ever since. It is light and fresh, just like Spring, with a beautiful aroma and soft, silky texture. This is the best bubble bath, and also makes a perfect gift.

This bubble bath is amazing. Even before opening the bottle I could smell the rich notes of rhubarb, strawberries and citrus. I never new about rhubarb ever before, but I suppose it makes a great bubble bath. My skin has been noticeably softer and smoother. Very frothy and bubbly if you add a generous amount in. The scent is a very rich, clean one that helps the mind unwind after a busy day of daily activities. You must try this bubble bath ad well as the other rhubarb related products like soap, cream and Body Gelato!!!

Sparkling Rhubarb Bubble Bath is my favorite all time bubble bath. I have very sensitive skin and this bubble bath does not irritate my skin. Does not leave a film in the bath tub. The scent is amazing and not overpowering.

Such a unique scent!

The moment I saw rhubarb, I said YES! I smelled it and th scent is spot on! Using it, it’s gentle on my skin. I have only got a travel size bottle, but I will have to get a full size when it’s gone. Now I just need a lotion to match!
