Our Story

From humble beginnings

Our story begins long before Saltspring Soapworks did: Four generations ago with a grandmother and a farm. Using beef tallow and ash, she handcrafted soap—a legacy that was handed down to her granddaughter and our founder, Linda Quiring. The simplicity of our beginnings remains the essence of our remedies today.

Really nice products

Everything smells fantastic, and it seems like a little goes a long way when it comes to the morning and night cream. I do notice a difference in my skin-I’ve stopped breaking out on my forehead and my skin feels soft. I did have a bit of a rash on my cheeks when I first started using the face wash but it went away after a few consecutive uses. These products seem like a nice way to pamper yourself and the price point is reasonable for the quality you are getting. I will be ordering more!

If I could give 10 stars I would

Just like the title, this skincare set is amazing. I’ve never had more glowing, soft skin in my life. It has completely changed my skin texture for the better. My skin feels so hydrated and clean afterward. For reference my skin texture is combo. I was worried the moisturizer and serum would cause it to be extra oily but that is not the case! I am hooked!
